As noted in Section 578.53(e)(12) eligible outpatient health costs are the direct outpatient treatment of medical conditions when provided by licensed medical professionals. The section goes on to state that this includes (iii) providing directly or assisting individuals to obtain and utilize appropriate medical treatment and (v) provision of appropriate medication. Therefore, to the extent that the prescription glasses meet one of these provisions, they may be paid for with grant funds.
